Last night's Council meeting was a learning experience for all of us in Ruston though you won't see it on Karen P's website. Why? Because last night we learned that Karen admitted under oath that she anonymously posts to her own website. Which is ok if all you are doing is trying to deceive the public. Some might think that's dishonest but in KarenWorld calling others liars while dishonestly misrepresenting yourself is just doing your job. What is her job anyway? Oh yeah, working for Asarco. You know, the people that polluted the area and then ran away.
Councilman Albertson asked at the last meeting to have the EPA come in and explain why an independent lab in Seattle got test results that exceeded the EPA and state standards. For that, Karen attacked him and suggested that he had abused his "position of trust" as a member of the council. She then posted a statement on her website accusing him of lying about environmental issues. Did a lab do tests? Were they higher than the standards? If what he said is true, how is that an abuse of his position of trust? Karen removed her post after someone pointed out it was libelous. Send it to Albertson, Karen and let him read it.
What also happened at the meeting last night is Albertson's comments directed at the damage Karen has done to the town. The public gets it. What were her vote totals the last couple of times she ran for council? The vast majority of people in town see her for what she is - a hatemonger. She ran a website that posted a picture of Bradley in a Nazi armband. As Albertson pointed out last night, her website included comments ("anonymous" comments - hey, wait a minute, those weren't posted by you, were they Karen?) of a sexual nature about council members. Someone finally called you out on it Karen. About time. Karen shut down that website after she said it was no longer productive. Strange. It was productive enough to refer to council members as Nazis and to make sexual references about them. It was productive enough to post comments that some council members should move out of town. Spewing hate was productive until someone posted the name Bradley used for her. I guess it's only productive to run a website attacking people when you can control what's on it.
But last night we learned something. About a hatemongering fraud. And now everyone will know it.
